“Combating SPYWARE in Your Growing Business”

Hosted by Secure Datacom, Inc.

At Gatsby's in Davie, FL

5:00 PM on December 15, 2005

To register, call 954.757.1448

or send email to twells@securedatacom.net

By attending this seminar, you will learn about:

  • Today’s most dangerous Internet threat, SPYWARE, how it works and how to defend against it.
  • Where you are most vulnerable and how SPYWARE can impact your business.
  • How you can eliminate SPYWARE threats with a single solution that’s easy to use.
  • See how Trend Micro integrates with Cisco Systems Network Access Control (NAC) strategy in defense of your network.

The same tools that you use every day to sell to customers, communicate with employees, and order supplies make your network vulnerable to a variety of Internet threats, such as:

Viruses:

A computer virus is a program that has the unique ability to replicate. They can attach themselves to just about any type of file and are spread as files that are copied and sent from individual to individual.

Phishing:

Phishing is where a perpetrator sends out legitimate-looking e-mails appearing to come from some of the Web's biggest sites in an effort to phish (pronounced "fish") for personal and financial information from the recipient.

Spam:

Spam is unsolicited e-mail on the Internet. From the sender's point-of-view, it's a form of bulk mail. To the receiver, it usually seems like junk e-mail.
SPYWARE:

SPYWARE is programming that is put in someone's computer to secretly gather information about the user and relay it to advertisers or other interested parties.

All Attendees will receive a Free Copy of Trend Micro's
Award-Winning PC-cillin Desktop Internet Security Software!
